Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Flint, Michigan is ranked as this year’s worst location for crime according to
the annual ranking by CQ Press. The ranking uses data from the FBI that includes
activity on murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle
theft. The following lists the Top Ten Worst Cities for Crime. Three California
cities, Oakland and Richmond are unfortunately in the Top Ten. However, Compton
fell off the list this year.
Meanwhile on the flip side, two California cities, Mission Viejo, and Irvine are
in the Top Ten lowest crime areas in the nation. Lake Forest dropped off the list.

7. Baltimore, MD
