Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Although the California economy maybe sad, its residents aren’t according to a
recent ranking by Men’s Health Magazine.
The ranking looks at the cities in America based up rankings used such as suicide
rates, unemployment rates as of June 2011, percentage of households that use
antidepressants, the number of people who report feeling the blues all or most of
the times.
Surprisingly, two states dominate the landscape-Florida and Nevada. The following
identifies the Top Ten.

2. Detroit, MI
3. Memphis, TN
4. Tampa, FL
5. Louisville, KY
6. St. Louis, MO
7. Birmingham, AL
8. Miami, FL
9. Reno, NV
10. Las Vegas, NV
