Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.

California-based Farmer’s Insurance was ranked the number one company in the nation
with employer-sponsored workforce training and development according to the 11th
annual ranking of the Top 125 Employers for Training for 2011 by Training magazine.

However, Farmer’s Insurance was not the only company from the Golden State that made
the list.  Nearly 10 percent of those ranked were from California. The following
identifies the companies that made this year’s list.
